Different Reiki Systems

Gendai Reiki Ho

This system of Reiki was developed by Doi Sensei, who is a member of Usui Sensei's original organization. He states in his manuals "You are to practice the path as taught by Usui Sensei and try to teach students as simple as possible. Considerately answer the questions from students and, if necessary, recommend restudying and participation in Reiki gatherings. Try to deepen the understanding of Reiki together with students. There exist all the keys in Reiki to shine spirituality. The focus is that how you understand Reiki and receive its love. Reiki Light will be unlimitedly given, but one receives it according to one's own choice (acceptability)."
Celtic Reiki

"Celtic Reiki is an extention of Usui Reiki, which uses specific vibrations of the Earth and specific trees and shrubs in order to create an enviroment suitable for healing and manifestation. The Reiki energy mimics the frequency of various trees and plants so as to work in accordance with channeled and Celtic wisdom. As Celtic Reiki is an Earth-based system, it is channeled up through the Base chakra, rather than down through the Crown (which is the case with Usui Reiki). This makes it similar in some ways to Kundalini Reiki, although Celtic Reiki does not act on the Kundilini. Instead, it produces results akin to traditional Usui Reiki, although these are influenced considerably by the energy techniques of the Celts." (From Celtic Reiki Level 1 manual)

 		Reiki According to Usui Sensei

Here is what Usui Sensei had to say about his system of Reiki,in his own words: "For achieving my teachings, training and improving physically and spiritually and walking in a right path as a human being, first we have to heal our spirit. Secondly we have to keep our body healthy. If our spirit is healthy and conformed to the truth, body will get healthy naturally. Usui Reiki Ryoho’s missions are to lead peaceful and happy life, heal others and improve happiness of others and ourselves. I’ve never been given this method by anybody nor studied to get psychic power to heal. I accidentally realized that I have received healing power when I felt the air in mysterious way during fasting." Compare this to what some of the other systems of Reiki have to say or teach.

Seichim
"Seichim (say sheem) comes from the Egyptian word SekHem which translated into English means ‘Power of Powers”. Seichim is ancient and sacred.  It is an advanced form of hands on healing having sounds and symbols and it is said Seichim is the parent energy of all hands on healing systems. It is believed that Seichim originates from Atlantean times.  However, in a more traceable form it can be shown that Seichim was practised by the Mayhan civilisation in South America before being introduced to Egypt. Although ancient in its essence, in modern times Seichim can be regarded as new and exciting.  Seichim is much more than simply a hands on healing technique.  Seichim is an advanced form of telepathically directed “healing ” and leads to a greater unfoldment and understanding of your spiritual self."

Kundilini Reiki
"Kundalini Reiki was brought to this earthly plane by Mr. Ole Gabrielsen.  Mr. Gabrielsen is a Master of Meditation and has inspired many people throughout the world. Kundalini Reiki is a direct result of Mr. Gabrielsen many hours of Holy Communion with Master Kuthumi.
